I practised law for over 25 years, primarily in the health care, pension and insurance sectors. My role consistently brought me into the real estate business, advising clients on the acquisition, disposition, and investment in real estate.
These three sectors encouraged me to learn as much as possible about succession planning, financial planning, tax planning, investment returns, and risk management. I have now applied these skills to real estate, and I am hopeful that my experience can be put to good use for you.
Over the last 20 years, I have participated in several venture capital and real estate companies with a primary interest in investment, management, and development of real estate.
I joined Coldwell Banker Innovators Realty Inc. in October 2005. I am working in both the commercial and residential fields. I have a wealth of experience to draw upon, including over 5,000 transactions involving real estate. I have provided professional advice to the following:

• Investors, Pension Fund Managers
• Property Managers
• Real Estate Builders and Developers
• Contractors and Architects
• Insurers
The principles of real estate investment and achieving superior returns are relatively straightforward. The difficulty is applying them in particular transactions.

About this Website
It is my intention to utilize this website as one of the tools to provide you with some of the background information that you require in order to locate suitable properties for your real estate portfolio.
It is for this reason that the Website is called “Ontario Real Estate Source”. It should provide a source of information for new homebuyers. The first step is acquiring a primary residence. The website will not be static. It wouldn’t be helpful if the website was exactly the same in 6 months, as it is now. So, I will be adding articles and real estate advice to the site on a regular basis. This material will largely be drawn from my weekly and monthly newspaper columns.
In addition, the posted material will be of general and common interest to many clients. It is not intended to provide overly detailed, complex, or difficult solutions to issues of narrow application.

I am pleased to announce that I am publishing a real estate blog called “Ontario Real Estate”. It includes a variety of topics on markets, finances and the law relating to real estate.
